Have you noticed how seasonal changes affect your body or health? Modern city life has caused us to disconnect from Mother Nature, but staying healthy comes from understanding and living in sync with nature’s cycles.
As you enter late summer, join Holly in a 3-hour workshop that begins with an all-levels vinyasa flow practice to get your energy flowing. After that, we will discuss some Traditional Chinese Medicine theories such as the Five Elements, their corresponding seasons and the Meridians. We will also explore the relationship between seasonal changes and your yoga practice. The workshop will end with a relaxing yin and myofascial release practice.

Holly is a certified vinyasa and yin yoga teacher and teaches full-time at The Yoga Room. She has studied myofascial release with physiotherapists and Traditional Chinese Medicines (TCM) with Chinese doctors. She believes that health and well-being comes from being balanced holistically, and therefore incorporates ancient Yoga philosophy, Western Anatomy and Eastern Medicine into her teachings.
