Living our Yoga by Janet Lau – November 8 and 9

A weekend workshop on the Yoga Sutras and its application into our everyday life!

Most of us associate yoga with poses, flexibility, and calm breathing on our yoga mat. But this ancient wisdom of yoga offers something much deeper for our body, heart, and mind. Yoga is a way of being that allows us to live in harmony with ourselves and others, rather than something solely we perform on the sticky mat. Please join us and experience the joy of Yin-Yang yoga practice, explore the Yoga Sutras and learn to apply these teachings in our everyday busy city life.

**This workshop is open to anyone who has a keen interest in exploring their yoga paths at a deeper level, any level of practitioner is welcome**

Timings of Workshop

Day 1 – Nov 08, 2014 (Saturday)
10:30-12:30 Asana Practice
14:00-16:00 The yoga we know (asana & pranayama)
16:30-19:00 Practicing our yoga beyond our
mat 1 (yama)

Day 2 – Nov 09, 2014 (Sunday)
10:30-12:30 Asana Practice
14:00-16:00 Practicing our yoga beyond our mat
2 (niyama & pratyahara)
16:30-19:00 Building a stable meditation practice in applying our off the mat yoga practice (dharana, dhyana, and samadhi)
