WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR DAYS?
After setting your intention for the day through meditation, your morning will start with a strong ninety minute practice to energize your day. This gives you the opportunity to deepen and develop your practice. Your afternoons will vary between different activities, surfing, workshops, and free spare time to explore Siargao in whichever way your heart desires. In the evening expect a more grounding flow and restorative practice to bring the body back into balance, followed by a mindful journaling session to set the intention for the evening dinner gathering under the starry nights.
Day 1: Wednesday, 5th, June 2019

A Vinyasa flow that will have you sweating within minutes. This flow is sequenced to strengthen your lower body to support your standing poses.

- Yoga Workshop: Intro To Flight: Inversion 101
A dynamic workshop designed towards understanding the fundamental principles and techniques to apply to all levels of inversions. This workshop begins with conditioning the core, shoulders, wrist, and upper back to bring greater awareness to areas in the body throughout the practice. General knowledge of energetic locks – such as the hand lock and shoulder lock – will be discussed in order for students to reach greater stability. This workshop is multi-level, welcoming both beginners and intermediate practitioners. Advanced inversions may be offered upon students’ level.

Give your lower body a rest on Day 2 as this Vinyasa Flow is aimed to strengthen and tone your upper body, preparing your for arm balances and inversions!

- Yoga Workshop:Progression to Flight // Forearm Balance 101This 1.5 hour workshop that invites you to step out of your comfort zone and explore new challenges and fun in Pincha Mayurasana, also known as Forearm Balance. This workshop will begin with a 30 minute Vinyasa flow to open up, build strength, and condition particular areas of the body that are key to support one in Forearm Stand: core, shoulders, upper back. Thereafter, the fun begins. All-level options will be provided to both beginners and intermediate practitioners

Whether you have been surfing away or arm-balancing your days away, the shoulders have taken a lot of tension these past few days. Enjoy this special Yin sequence focused on opening up and release built up tensions around the upper back and shoulders.

Restorative yoga is the use of props to create positions of ease and comfort that aid to facilitate relaxation and health. After a day filled with active asana’s and surfing, restorative brings the body back to a balance by slowing everything back down physically and mentally. I invite you to this practice to let-go, disconnect, and to connect with yourself a little bit deeper.

- Yoga Workshop: Journey To Scorpion // Backbending SeriesThis workshop focuses on backbending techniques designed to open and strengthen your entire spine. Utilizing the strength of the lower body, and openness of the hips from the morning flow, Katharina has developed a special backbending sequence to allow you to better understand and open up the spine into advanced backbending postures – both standing postures and inversions. This workshop holds a safe space to learn, explore, and delve deeper into your backbends with confidence.
