Melody started practicing yoga in 2014 to rehabilitate a back injury and to balance her hectic corporate work life. Since then she has experienced not only a physical transformation, but also a gain in mental strength and overall wellness. The yearning for more knowledge of yoga led to her first 200-hour teacher training in 2015, followed by further trainings including Yin Yoga, Mindful Birth (pre & postnatal yoga) and AntiGravity Fitness. She is also a graduate of Victor Chau’s Mentorship Workshop. Believing yoga is for everyone, Melody aspires to share an accessible practice with an open mind that respect differences and with compassion to understand limitations, while making students feel encouraged to bring out their best. Currently a lululemon Ambassador (2020), she collaborates with the global brand to give back to local communities. Through the practice of yoga, she hopes to influence more people to discover their inner strength and achieve a union of body, mind and soul.
