Forearm Stand & Variations Advanced Workshop with Katharina

A 2 hour workshop that invites you to step out of your comfort zone and to explore new challenges through advanced variations of Pincha Mayurasana. This workshop is considered an intermediate-advanced class; for those looking to explore new strengths in their Pincha Mayurasana – not suitable for beginners.
This workshop will begin by warming up the body with a core vinyasa flow to activate the core, and open up particular areas in the body necessary for an arm balance – such as the shoulders and upper back. From there on, the play begins by exploring new variations, funky poses, and unique transitions in and out of Pincha Mayurasana.
Poses you might expect: Scorpion Pincha Mayurasana, Funky Pincha Mayurasana, Stag Leg Pincha Mayurasana, and more!
- Able to come into headstand
- At least 2 years of regular Hatha/Vinyasa/Ashtanga practice
- Eager to learn and have fun!
