Your Body, Your Yoga – Understanding your Body in Yoga Asanas with Holly
May 20 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Event Navigation

Have you wondered why your heels cannot touch the mat in Downward Facing Dog, or why certain yoga postures seem impossible to achieve? These are some of the questions we will explore in this 3-hour workshop. We will examine different skeletal variations, understand tension and compression in the body, and analyse their impact on our yoga postures. This workshop is perfect for students and teachers who are interested in yoga anatomy and are keen to develop a safe and functional approach to yoga by knowing their own body structures. The workshop will conclude with a Hatha/Yin practice.
