Dharma Yoga Workshop with Daphne

Dharma Yoga is classic Hatha-Raja Yoga following the Eight Limb path as taught by yoga master Sri Dharma Mittra, who has been spreading the teachings in New York City for 50 years.
About the Workshop
Maha Sadhana – The Great Practice
It will include all the aspects of yoga: Chanting, Pranayama, Meditation and Asana in an all levels practice that will focus inversions, hip openers and backbends. The sadhana will make the body healthy, strong, and flexible and lead students to quiet the mind, build endurance and overcome fears. At the end there is a wonderful way to relax the body and mind called yoga nidra. It’s an active meditation guided by the teacher, a perfect way to end the asana practice. It’s said that 30 minutes of yoga nidra is as good as 3 hours deep sleep.

Daphne is a certified yoga teacher based in Hong Kong after obtaining her Hot Yoga 200 hours RYT certification from Copper Crow in Singapore and twice Hatha Raja Yoga Self-Realisation 200 hours from Sri Andrei Ram in Barcelona. She has also attended UNIVERSAL®️YOGA 100 hours RYT certification training by the founder Andrey Lappa, Mindful Birth Pre & Post Natal yoga training with Dr Jean Byrne and Michelle Papa. Besides, she is a certified Dharma Yoga Wheel Teacher and a Registered Dharma Yoga Teacher who has completed the 500 & 800 hours Life of a Yogi training with Sri Dharma Mittra in New York.
With 10 years’ experience of dedicated practice and various yoga workshops around the world, Daphne understands the needs for different individuals. As a disciple who believes that everyone can benefit from yoga physically, mentally and spiritually, her teaching focuses on dedication and consciousness of the mind and awareness of the body. At the same time, her class is full of positive & peaceful energy, creativity and delight. She is keen to share her love for yoga with this blissful authentic wisdom to all practitioners.
