‘HANDSTANDS ARE FOR EVERYONE’ WORKSHOP
Date: 29 & 30 May 2021 (Sat and Sun)
Time: 2:30 – 5:30pm *Includes 15min Q&A
Part 1 (29 May) –
The Foundations: Learn basic core strength conditioning, hands’ placements,
shoulder opening and many more important skills to prepare yourself for a
safe and sound handstand. Beginners are welcomed, no prior experience
Part 2 (30 May) –
Handstand and Basic Hand Balancing: In this more advanced workshop, you will
learn how to balance on your hands on your own, in the middle of the room.
Different legs and arms variations, as well as alternative entries into
handstands will also be introduced. You need to be able to kick up into
handstand on your own, against the wall, to join Part 2. Otherwise,
participation of Part 1 is required

About Victor Chau:
An international yoga teacher, Victor started his yoga learning and teaching career in Beijing and has taught over 5000 hours, leading over 80 workshops, retreats and teacher trainings, and presented in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, at yoga conferences in over 20 cities in China, Indonesia, Singapore, Japan, Canada, Thailand, India, Spain, New Zealand, Korea and India. He is also a programme director at IRIS: Your Escape and the co-founder of Mentorship Workshop, a post-YTT training that helps up-and-coming yoga teachers to connect with key industry people, start a yoga business and find their own unique voice.
