What is SURYA KRIYA?

Surya Kriya is a potent yogic practice of tremendous antiquity, designed as a holistic process for health, wellness, and complete inner wellbeing. “Surya” means “sun,” and “kriya” means “inner energy process.” Surya Kriya activates the solar plexus to raise the samat prana, or solar heat, in the system. It also balances a person’s left and right energy channels, leading to stability of the body and stillness of the mind. This strong foundation becomes the basis to explore higher dimensions of life.

How is it different from SURYA NAMASKAR (Sun Salutation)?

Surya Kriya is different from Surya Namaskar in that the original practice or the real practice is Surya Kriya.

It is a way of aligning yourself with the sun and it is a much more refined process which needs enormous attention in terms of the geometry of the body.

Surya Namaskar is a country cousin of Surya Kriya. Surya Namaskar is a kind of practice that evolved out of Surya Kriya. Surya Namaskar is largely a way of Saluting the sun. But, Surya Kriya has more spiritual intentions. Surya Kriya has more powerful connotations.

Traditionally available only to select group of yogis, Surya Kriya is being offered by Sadhguru as a comprehensive spiritual practice that is ideal for the hectic pace of today’s world.

What are the Benefits?

Surya Kriya is a complete spiritual process by itself.

It enriches one’s life in many ways:

 – Develops mental clarity and focus

– Remedies weak constitutions

– Boosts vigor and vitality

– Balances hormonal levels in the body

– Prepares one for deeper states of meditation

When you activate the sun in the system, the body begins to glow and shine.”

What is InYoga – Establish Yourself?

“Yogastha Kuru Karmani…” literally means: ‘First Establish Yourself in Yoga, then Act’. The phrase goes back to none other than Krishna. Dedicated to this fundamental, which is essential to creating well-being in the world, InYoga – Establish Yourself, Hong Kong’s first and sole Isha Hatha Yoga Studio, has been set-up recently by Karan. Having undergone 5 months of intense training at the Isha Yoga Center in Tamil Nadu, India, under the guidance of Sadhguru, Karan has established InYoga to offer classical hatha yoga in its full depth and dimension.

What is Isha Hatha Yoga?

Isha Hatha Yoga programs are an unparalleled opportunity to learn practices derived from a yogic tradition maintained in its full purity and vibrancy for thousands of years. The classes are conducted by highly trained teachers and will offer classical Hatha Yoga in its full depth and dimension. They are not taught merely for physical fitness and strength. They are a holistic process of naturally achieving a certain mastery over the body and mind, so as to come to a state of health, joy, and bliss. They are ideal for the hectic pace of today’s world.

Isha Hatha Yoga is currently taught in 5 different classes: Upa Yoga, Angamardana, Surya Kriya, Yogasanas, and Bhuta Shuddhi. These practices have been selected and designed by Sadhguru to develop mental clarity and focus, boost vigor and vitality, balance hormonal levels and take years off the body, bringing a sense of lightness and freedom.
