Join us for a 3-hour Yoga workshop, where you will learn to manage the main menopausal symptoms through yoga, meditation, and women’s circle discussion. Menopause Yoga (MY) is a positive approach that views menopause as an opportunity for self-insight and personal growth. This workshop is a safe and supportive space for women going through the stages of menopause, where you can share experiences and receive evidence-based facts.
The workshop will be led by Tina Denmark, a certified Menopause Yoga practitioner, and will comprise the following:
- Women’s circle introduction: a discussion of the focus of the workshop presenting evidence-based facts and signposting to other professionals as necessary.
- 1.5-hour Yoga asana class: focused on the 1-2 peri-menopause symptoms being addressed in this workshop, including relevant Pranayama, Hatha postures, restorative poses, and meditation.
- Appropriate poem or reading and some time and guidance for journaling.
This workshop provides an opportunity to experience an holistic way to guide women through the stages of menopause by bringing together Western Medical Science and Ancient Eastern Wellbeing approaches. Tina, a dance and fitness professional with over 30 years of experience, is excited to share her knowledge and the empowering practices she has learned through her 20 years of practicing yoga and completing Petra Coveney’s Menopause Yoga Teacher Training. This workshop in Hong Kong is open to women of any age, whether in peri-menopause, menopause, or just interested in learning techniques to ease the symptoms associated with this transition and re-frame the experience as a positive one. Join us to discover the benefits of yoga for menopause and learn how to incorporate these practices into your daily routine.
Wear comfortable clothes and bring a bottle of water, a notebook, a pen, and an open mind!
